Cognitive Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
QUASAR is looking for a motivated Cognitive Engineer to join its team. The individual will be involved with defining, planning and running programs across the company’s core areas.

SKILLS & REQUIERMENTS:
Our new team member will:

• Have 10 years of combined education and/or experience in cognitive science/engineering 
• Apply cognitive psychology and human-computer interaction techniques and principles to complex evaluation and design situations
• Have experience with collecting physiological data and developing models to classify cognitive state
• Establish and maintain a funded research program in Cognitive Engineering and human-system interaction. Work with programs across the Laboratory to understand their Cognitive Engineering challenges
• Support and lead grant/contract proposal efforts
• Work with military and civilian domain experts to transition research products into application
