Electric field sensing systems
QFS has developed an innovative electric field sensor that is stable at very low frequency (0.01 Hz to 10 kHz)
without an electrically conducting path to the atmosphere. This innovation enables measurement of the electric
potential in free space at millivolt levels. The sensors’ compact packaging and low power consumption allow us
to produce precision systems for a variety of applications. QFS has experience in applications such as lightning
detection, electrostatic hazard monitoring, and underground facility detection and is at the forefront of research
into new areas like airborne and underwater electric field sensing.
